Terms and Conditions of Entry
Payment for all entries will be made prior to the event entered via Paypal and are non-refundable. Names/entries are transferable via email request in advance of the event. It is compulsory for all competitors to have read, understood and agreed to these terms, conditions and disclaimer. For UK Mud Run, Mini Mud Run, Adventure Run and Mini Adventure Run events, a copy of the Disclaimer must be printed and signed or signed on the day of the event at the registration (this will be sent in an email to you near the date of your entry)
Disclaimer/suitability to participate
I understand that my participation in this event is potentially hazardous. I declare that I am over the age of 18 years physically and medically able to participate and that I know of no reason why I should not participate in this event.
(16/17 year olds will require parent or guardian counter signature on printed version of disclaimer)
I am aware and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, negotiating terrain and obstacles, effects of weather, traffic and condition of the road. I hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, Ultimate Fitness Experience, sponsors, promoters, host venue, representatives and all other persons associated with the event for all my liabilities, claims, actions or damages that I may have against them out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.
I assume complete and full responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am travelling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.
I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties.I am fully aware of all associated potential risks and dangers, accept that these activities are dangerous and can result in death and/or injury./ I will disclose any existing injuries and/or medical conditions and will attend the formal safety briefing prior to the event starting.
I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motions pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event.
The Shrewsbury 10k/East Midlands 10k/Telford 10k
As a participant in the Shrewsbury 10k/East Midlands 10k/Telford 10k I agree to abide by the current law and rules of competition of UK Athletics. I declare that I will be over the age of 16 on the date of the race. I declare that I understand the nature and distance of the event, the physical preparation required and that I am fit to participate and do so at my own risk. I understand that the organisers will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may occur as a result of my participation. I am aware and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, negotiating the course, effects of weather, traffic and condition of the road. Ultimate Fitness Experience (UFE) events and services
Terms and conditions
All UFE instructors are first aid trained, qualified , experienced and insured to deliver all of the activities advertised. Each Instructor/trainer holds a membership with the register of exercise professionals (REPS) and relevant qualifications along with their own public liability insurance.
UFE holds its own public liability insurance for all activities and events including the Mud Run Series and the Shrewsbury 10k, Personal Training, Bootcamps, Caveman Training, Ultimate Fitness Weekends. Full risk assessments are conducted and recorded along with regular health and safety/equipment checks.
For all participants for any UFE services/events, any medical conditions, injuries or illnesses must be disclosed and discussed with instructors/trainers prior to participation in any event. Participants confirm they enter into all activities at their own risk and must complete a ‘Physical Activity Readiness’ questionnaire and sign specific event disclaimers.
